Please keep little David, our latest rescue, in your thoughts. He is understandably stressed and not trusting his carers to feed him milk. He is being closely monitored by the Rhino Orphanage team and is drinking water and eating dry food. Hopefully he will take to his milk soon.
Senseless brutal killing of these beautiful pre-historic animals is just so maddening, frustrating and infuriating!!!
Help us save these amazing animals - part of our heritage - donate, create awareness, get involved, be a voice, make a difference, do it now! ... See more
**Update on the New Arrival **
It was a very rough night with this baby, calling non-stop, pacing relentlessly and refusing any form of milk or electrolytes. We decided to remove his blindfold before he is on milk, to see if he would be calmer. Luckily by mid-morning he calmed down a little and had water and a little dry food. We can't enter his room but our carers are sleeping outside his door to monitor and comfort him. We will introduce him to a new friend tomorrow.
